【英語】2009年度ロンドン芸大進学予定者、最後の救いの手か？！
2009年度ロンドン芸大進学予定の方で、英語がまだ足りない・・・IELTS取れるのかな・・・と不安な日々を送っている方に最後の救いの手？！が登場しました。
その名も「TEEP」。
もともとはReading（レディング）大学が独自で開発した英語テストですが、UALも2009年度、このテストのスコアを入学の正式基準として認知します。
ただし、このテストはIELTSよりも簡単、というわけではありません。過去の学生を見ていると、TEEPテストのほうがスコアがよかった人、逆にIELTSのほうがよかった人、ほぼ半々のようです。
最後の救いの手になるか、ならぬか・・・藁をも掴む思いの方、受けてみる価値はあるでしょう。

ちなみに・・・
オンラインでの受験料支払いやメールでのテスト予約ができることになっていますが、どれも確実な方法ではないし、返事を待つ間に席が飛ぶ可能性もあるため、どうしても無理（今日本にいる等）でない限りは直接出向いて目の前で確実に予約手続きをしてください。

●会場●
UAL本部ビル内（65 Davies St 地下鉄Bond St駅1分）
●受験料●
1回￡110
直接現金をInternational Centreに持ち込むか、オンラインにて下記のとおり支払う。
https://intranet.arts.ac.uk/registry/payments/
に行き、「Other」という支払いタイプのところに ￡110と打ち込み、「Message Box」（特記事項を書くところ）に「TEEP Test」と打ち込む。
●予約●
International Centreに出向いて予約するか、まずオンラインで支払いをした後、Language Centreの担当者Ewan Flynnにメールする。（とにかく支払いをしない限りは予約できないとしつこく書いてある。）

メール内容：
①氏名
②Student ID number（学生番号 SAT09182736 のようなもの）
③110ポンドを支払った日付と、レシート番号
④受験希望日
●テストのアドバイス●
TEEPテストの準備・対策については下記ウェブサイトを参照のこと。

●結果の受け取り●
結果は10営業日（2週間）以内に出、Language Centreにより大学のコンピュータ・システムに直接アップデートされる。学生はDavies St（International Centre）から10月にテストスコア用紙を受け取ることができる。エンロールメントの際には提出不要。
●注意●
TEEPはUALの全カレッジ入学において認知される。しかし、
●Language Knowledgeのレベル（grade）がAverage以上で、
●ライティングのスコアが全体のスコアと同じかそれ以上であること
が必須条件である。
例）overall スコアが6.0必要な人の場合、writingも6.0を取らなくてはならない。
たとえoverallで6.0がとれても、writingが5.5でlisteningが6.5などの内訳だとアウト。

Testing of English for Educational Purposes (TEEP)
Test Information
Dates
The Language Centre at Davies Street will be providing two test dates available for all students who have offers for any course during the coming academic year and need to meet their English Language requirement:
? 16th September 2009
? 25th September 2009
There are 120 places available for each date on a first come first serve basis
Fee
The Fee for TEEP is ￡110 which can be paid in person when booking the test at the International Centre at Davies Street or online https://intranet.arts.ac.uk/registry/payments/
-Inputting ￡110 in the Other payment type box and typing “TEEP Test” in the message box.
Booking
Students can book their place for the test in person or
by emailing Ewan Flynn at the Language Centre e.flynn@arts.ac.uk
The email must include:
? Students name
? UAL Student ID number
? Date of ￡110 payment and receipt number
? Date of test required: 16 September or 23 September
NO BOOKINGS WILL BE ACCEPTED WITHOUT PAYMENT

Results
Will be available a maximum of 10 working days after the test date and will be put directly onto the university system by the Language Centre.
Students will be able to collect their TEEP certificate from Davies Street in October but they will not need this to enrol at their college
Please note that TEEP is accepted by all colleges in the University of the Arts
However we will only accept TEEP scores with
Language Knowledge grades of Average or above AND where
the writing grade is at least equivalent to the overall grade
(e.g. overall grade 6.0, minimum acceptable writing grade 6.0)
